Privacy
Architra stores as little as the marketplace needs to work: an address to sign you in, a profile you write yourself, the files you upload and a record of what you bought.
Architra is a prototype. The works listed on it are invented and nobody has ever bought one.

Signing in
Architra has no passwords. You enter an email address and Resend sends a six-digit code to it, acting as a processor for that one message. Architra keeps the address, because without it there is no account.
A session cookie keeps you signed in. Architra sets it without asking, since signing in does not work otherwise, and uses it for nothing else, neither advertising nor tracking.
Your profile
Handle, name, one line about you, country and role appear publicly on your profile page. You write them and you can change them at any time under Account. You can leave any of them empty.
What you upload
The file you offer, its preview images and a SHA-256 digest of the file with the moment it was taken. The digest is the authorship record described on the rights page, and it is shown publicly on the work's page so that anyone can verify it.
Architra keeps the file in a private object store and hands it out only to its author and to accounts that have bought it. Preview images go to anyone who opens the page.
Purchases
A purchase records who bought which work, the price at that moment, the terms it was sold under and the payment reference. This is what proves your right to download the file later, so it stays for as long as the account exists, and tax law requires it to be kept anyway.
Card details never reach Architra. Payments run through Stripe, which processes them under its own responsibility and receives your email address to issue the receipt.
Selling and payouts
Authors who sell get a connected account at Stripe. Identity documents, bank details and tax information go to Stripe directly and are not stored here. Architra keeps the account reference and whether Stripe has cleared it for payouts.
Copyright reports
A report keeps the address you gave and the claim you wrote, so that it can be looked into and so that you can be reached about it. Architra keeps a report after deciding it, because the record of what came down and why is what makes the procedure checkable.
Where it is stored
The database runs on Neon, the site and the file store on Vercel, sign-in mail goes through Resend, payments through Stripe. All of them process data on Architra's behalf. There is no analytics service, no advertising network and no tracking across other sites.
Your rights
You can ask what is stored about you, have it corrected, have it deleted and object to its processing. Write to contact@architra.net. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
Deleting an account removes the profile and the works. It cannot remove files that buyers have already downloaded, and it does not remove purchase records that tax law requires to be kept.
